You may have noticed that for the past five years, when May hits most of the major jewelry stores start talking gold. This is because this merry month has been designated the official 'gold month'. What does that mean? Well, I could blog on about the meanings and the latin/Greek/Sanskrit and Gobbledgook connection between May and gold. Or simply point out that it's the month when new gold jewelry designs hit the stores and the golden powers that be give the street folk a chance to vote for the good, great and golden pieces.
Vote means election (don't log off now - I"m not talking Hillary, Barack and I promise not to mention Rev. Wright - who by the way may have done it in the dining room with the candlestick). In this election you get to choose your favorite golden gem and can actually win it. Also, this election (you'll be happy to hear Rev. Wright) let's you vote every day for the whole of May.
